Things to do in Washinton that AREN’T Seattle

If you’re looking for a house in Washington and you’re done finding clear deals and hiring movers you’ve got to get out there and see the sights. If you want to see something other than Seattle, head to one of these awesome places
Olympic National Park: Head to the highlands to check out the Olympic National Park to see the slopes and some of the structures they’ve still got set up. There’s a lot to see and do here.
Mount St Helens: See the aftermath of one of the worst volcanic eruptions in US historythis is a slightly depressing day trip but it’s historical and you gain a new appreciation for the wrath of nature in this part of the world. Probably leave the kids at home if you can swing it.
Capitol Lake: Olympia is the capitol of Washington and aside from some of the great governmental businesses here there’s also a massive lake – it’s a beautiful site in an otherwise dim metropolis so check it out if you’re in the area. It’s always good to pay respects.

Driving through the North Cascades Highway

When taking a road trip, consider taking a drive to the Cascade Mountain Range located in Washington. This mountain range is referred to as the North Cascades Highway or State Highway 20.
