If you’re looking for a house in Washington and you’re done finding clear deals and hiring movers you’ve got to get out there and see the sights. If you want to see something other than Seattle, head to one of these awesome places
Olympic National Park: Head to the highlands to check out the Olympic National Park to see the slopes and some of the structures they’ve still got set up. There’s a lot to see and do here.
Mount St Helens: See the aftermath of one of the worst volcanic eruptions in US historythis is a slightly depressing day trip but it’s historical and you gain a new appreciation for the wrath of nature in this part of the world. Probably leave the kids at home if you can swing it.
Capitol Lake: Olympia is the capitol of Washington and aside from some of the great governmental businesses here there’s also a massive lake – it’s a beautiful site in an otherwise dim metropolis so check it out if you’re in the area. It’s always good to pay respects.

When taking a road trip, consider taking a drive to the Cascade Mountain Range located in Washington. This mountain range is referred to as the North Cascades Highway or State Highway 20. You will be able to enjoy this beautiful scenery while driving through this mountainous range. North Cascades Highway were also the first of its kind in here in the U.S. North Cascades Highway goes from

Some key views to look for are the Cascade Mountains by way of the Methow Valley, will drive through the Washington and Rainy Pass where you will be able to enjoy this beautiful country. You will see the magnificent colors of red, orange and gold along this stretch of road. The scenery includes rough peaks, cavernous valleys, waterfalls, and glaciers embellish that is part of the National Park located in the North Cascades. There are other parks that you can visit with adventures through the North Cascades Highway. Travelers can visit a large variety of pleasing views and a 400-mile driving tour that will take them through the Cascades and if interested there is also a virtual tour that you can access from your computer. Places that are included on your drive would be; Diablo Lake Overlook, Happy Creek Forest Walk, Rainy Pass, Rainy Lake National Recreation Trail and Washington Pass these are just a few of the spots to hit while going through North Cascades Highway.

When the weather conditions are bad in the North Cascades the highway is close to traffic for safety purposes. The snow is known to get so high that snow plows are not able to clear it and there is also the danger of avalanches to occur since it is in the mountains.
The Highway is normally opened again in the spring when the weather is more suitable and the roads are passable.

Grand Coulee Dam, built during the 1940s, is one of Washington State’s biggest attractions. Millions of visitors come here each year to see the dam in action. Many annual events are held here: In August there will be a “laser light show” outlining the dam’s history. The area also teems with golf courses and boating docks.

One of the most interesting natural features of the Coulee is the Lake Lenore Caves, made of volcanic rock eroded by water.This/tag helps explain it more. Prehistoric Indians may have lived or camped there. And Steamboat Lake State Park, where one can camp, is dominated by a huge column of basalt, and other high mountains that one can try and climb. But be sure not to litter or to remove any natural feature. You want to be able to come back next year and find looking just as attractive as before.

When the Grand Coulee was first being worked upon, Woody Guthrie sang about it in many of his songs, including “Biggest Thing That Man Has Ever Done,” “Way Up in That Northwest,” and “Big Grand Coulee Dam”" all available on his “Columbia River Collection.” He called Coulee “the mightiest thing built by the hands of a man.”
