The North Central Washington District Fair is a very historical fair in Washington State with a rich 100 year history. IN 2011, the fair takes place August 25- 28. It’s a very cool place to just have some fun and let your hair down with your family and friends. Country singer, Lee Brice, is scheduled for a performance on Friday. This is a really nice Friday concert to enjoy right after your last day of work to set your weekend off just right! Also, take in the traditional carnival rides you know and love.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here. If you want to get some fresh meat, there’s a market that has beef, chicken, and pork ready for you to buy. Maybe you to want to have a little bit more of a classic game taste? The Horseshoe contest is open with the Singles Tournament on Saturday, and the Doubles Tournament on Sunday. This is a really nice area that has some unique things such as a Dog Obedience contest. You can show off how obedient your dog is as well as the amazing tricks he/she capable of doing on command. It’s an excellent way to get older and younger people involved. Another unique opportunity is participating in the North Central Washington Fair cookbook. You can share some of your prized recipes just for the Fair’s history. As well as provide just some interesting insights, and tidbits to your liking. Maybe dancing is more of your style. There’s a fun dance every year that takes place on Friday and Saturday.
